Preparation and Interface Identification
1. Confirm Interface Type: Common interfaces include threaded interfaces (metric threads, imperial NPT/PT), flange interfaces, SAE flanges, and pagoda connectors, which must be compatible with the oil pipe fittings.
2. Identify Port Functions: These are usually marked on the motor housing.
* A/B Ports: Main working oil ports, connecting the system pressure oil pipe (P port) and return oil pipe (T port). The motor's rotation direction is determined by the inlet and outlet directions of these two ports.
* T (or L) Port: Drain port, must be directly connected to the oil tank with a separate oil pipe, and the pipe must always be tilted downwards to ensure unobstructed drainage. This port must not have any back pressure, otherwise it will damage the motor shaft seal.
* Other Auxiliary Ports: Some motors may have auxiliary interfaces such as flushing and pressure testing ports, which must be handled according to the instruction manual.
Connection Steps
1. Cleaning: Ensure that the motor oil ports, fittings, and the inside of the oil pipes are absolutely clean and free of any impurities.
2. Sealing: Select and correctly install the seals (e.g., O-rings, combination washers, Teflon tape) according to the interface type. Pay attention to the direction when wrapping the Teflon tape to prevent debris from entering the system.
3. Tightening: Use a suitable wrench to tighten the joints to the specified torque, avoiding overtightening which could damage or cause seal failure.
4. Piping Securing: Secure the oil pipes properly with pipe clamps to prevent friction with other components or severe vibration during operation, especially preventing additional stress on the joints.

Safety and Inspection
* Before initial startup, the system must be thoroughly purged (this can be done by loosening the joints or operating the vent valve on the motor housing).
* After startup, test run under low pressure to check for oil leaks at all connections.
* Confirm that the motor rotation direction meets system requirements.
* After running for a period of time, re-inspect and tighten all pipe joints to prevent loosening due to vibration.
